I had been thinking about writing a post about yoga, inspired by class this morning, for about two hours before I turned on my laptop. I knew what I wanted to say and why I wanted to say it. But instead of writing I had some tea, checked my online banking, hoovered the living room, had some more tea, took the dogs for a walk. I am the queen of procrastination. In school, I always left my homework until Sunday evening and cursed those who were organised enough to have it all finished on Friday afternoon. In college whenever there was an assignment due I always had the cleanest bedroom and the most perfectly plucked eyebrows!
Even if I love doing something I still stall until I absolutely have to get my head down and focus. Sometimes I even put off stepping onto my yoga mat and there isn't one thing that I dislike about my practice. Well maybe handstand! So lately I have been trying to be more proactive and stop leaving everything until the last minute. It's not that I am disorganised. I know exactly what needs to be done and it will be done. I tend to work well under pressure but sometimes I can let things slide a little too far and then I am sprinting to catch up.
