A little Valentine's day treat for yourself and/or your significant other! Cooking skill and dexterity not required.
You will need:
1 ripe avocado
3 tablespoons of good quality cocoa powder
1 tablespoon of coconut oil
1 tablespoon of raw cacao butter
pinch of salt
1 teaspoon of honey (optional extra for those with a sweeter tooth)
Melt the coconut oil and cacao butter either in a saucepan or in the microwave for 30 seconds.
Place all of the ingredients in a blender or food processsor. Blitz until smooth. Spoon into glasses or espresso cups. No cook deliciousness in a few seconds with the added benefit of being free from added sugar, dairy, gluten and eggs.
